Happy Anniversary

On this date in 1981 my wife bought a '56 convertible. She was a single mom. She didn't even own a running car. She was driving one of my cars. She had another '56 convertible, but it was a basket case. When she told me she was buying this car for $7500 dollars, I told her she was crazy. I told her that for that much money, I could build the car she had. She said "OK here is the money...build it." I told her I was too busy. She said she would buy this car and drive it until I could find time to build the other one. Well, I haven't had the time to build the other car yet. And, she still has this one.

We got married the next year. My dad always said maybe the car had something to do with that.
