Newbie question... good plan?

My first post here.... :)

Here's my plan... please tell if it is sound....
I want a 1955 Bel Air 2dr... OR a 1955 Sedan Delivery...
I am thinking about keeping my eyes peeled for a very good frame and starting from there...
1. galvanize/paint the frame
2. update suspension and brakes
3. add drivetrain (ramjet 350, 700r4)

I figured that should keep me busy while I look for a really really good project car.... (and then sell it's frame!)

What should a solid frame/rolling chassis cost me... what are problems to look for?

Good idea??

I`ve seen the frames go for anywhere from 50.00-500.00. Start looking at swap meets and on e-bay. Terry.

Also on the to look for, just make sure it isn`t rusted out on the lower sections, nor any big ripped/torn out places,Terry.
