56 9-passenger middle seat

I have acquired some 55-57 parts this year, and one of the items turns out to be the split folddown middle seat for 56 and 57 9-passenger wagons. Anyone know what it's worth, or know of anyone looking for one? The local guru in Portland says it's very hard to find. I'm in Oregon.

I suspect this seat will fit other GM 9-passenger wagons too. You could list it on eBay with a high reserve and long listing time and give the highest bidder a second chance offer.

Thanks for your reply. What would you consider a fair "high reserve" for this seat? I don't want to take advantage of anyone, but still want to get a good price for it.

I don't know and you don't need to tell anyone. Just sell it to the highest bidder as a second chance offer if you are willing to take his bid.

A local dealer,the guy I bought my 56 9 pass from,sold a rear seat-the third-on ebay for 800.00. I believe he sold the seat you have for about the same.Believe it or not,all the seats were in my po ol ' 56 when I bought her.Front seat a mess,but I found a good one.Center and third seats very good.Good luck,Dave
