Hey Guys

I don't know if I should use the stock arms or change to the tubular ones.
The new arms don't look as strong as the old ones. What is the pro's and con's. I have the frame off and ready for the powered coating and would like to coat the old arms but don't know which is better. I will be putting a 350 engine in it just for a daily driver so do I need new arms. I have installed a four link rear suspension and don't want to hinder my ride if I should up grade the front arms also?
Any infromation would be great

Thanks Everyone
Keep up with all the good info.

John, it depends on what your doing with the steering. The tubular uper arms have additional caster built in. If your planning power steering, the additional caster really helps in making the car drive straight without wondering. If your using stock manual steering, they aren't really necessary. I did the 605 conversion on mine so I used the tubular uppers. I have yet to hear anyone say there was any improvement using the lowers. If your building a high dollar show car, the lowers would look better matched to the uppers.

Hi Guys
Other than the added caster which is a benefit the tubular arms have more torsional value than your old ones. Which meens they have added strength but you will most likely not feel it in the ride itself. Oh and they look cool to. :)
