Looked at the local craigslist, and just posted, was a 700R4 from a 1986 Camero Z28. Needs rebuilt. $20.00.........I couldn't get there fast enough. Now to get it rebuilt for me 56!

$20 is not bad at all, most people who put the 700r4 and the 200-4R in our cars have them upgraded anyway. So, you got yourself a good deal.

Poor Eldon, I paid $200 for a perfectly good 200-4r, it must be the price of gas...hehe

I paid $200 for a rebuilt TH350 ;) from a buddy of mine.

Well that was a very good deal. But i have one to beat that. I was given my 700R. Granted it needed to be rebuilt but i wasn`t going to complain since the price was right.

I've found a lot of good parts on Craigslist myself. A duel line Doulble pumper 780 carb fo 10 bucks in the knoxville tn section
