Howdy,
Only my second post. I just picked up a '56 150 2 door post that was originally what I think was solid Pinecrest Green (light turquoise), with no 2 tone. I really like the color when I've seen it on a few restored 56's, so I think I'm gonna go with it. Is that something I can still order with a code or will I have to run a sample up to the paint store to match? I'd like to get it in a single stage paint and shoot it myself. I've painted a few cars and they've come out very respectable. I've found with enough wet sanding and buffing, it's amazing how good paint can come out. I've never shot 2 stage or metalflake or anything, but, this Pincecrest Green looks to be an ideal candidate for Dupont single stage Acrylic Enamel. Any thoughts or help on that code or color would be greatly appreciated. I thought I'd order a gallon or two to have on hand and I could paint panels as I get them ready.
Thanks for your time.
