Tranny crossmember

I am planning a tranny swap on my 55 belaire 4 door, 350 engine. Pulling out the tired old powerglide, and upgrading to a 700R4. Don't know what kind of crossmember to use, or where to get one. Any input would be apreciated.

Hello LGar55 and welcome to TriFive. I made my own out of 1X1-1/2" X 1/8" rectangular tubing and angle iron onto the frame. Places like Eastcoast Chevy in PA and Classic Chevy International, FL have kits available, as do most tri five suppliers, check out the sopnsors of this site above, good day, Henry.
