how many coat of base coat do most people use I have always used single stage and the standard amount of clear thanks Ted

Most of the Base / Coat, Clear /coats are formulated on a color to hide application. Depending on your application you can achieve a more custom look by coloring to hide and 2 coats of clear flat sand to work all your imperfections and adjust your color were needed and lay your graphics down . Then clearing , flat sanding, and re clearing to perfection and a final wet sand and buff. Now this is not carved in stone . Depending on weather this is your project or a customers that is willing to lay down the GREEN BACKS :eek: you can take it to any level of quality you desire.
