oil dipstick tube

Any Ideas on an easy way to remove a broken off upper dipstick tube on a gm sb. I was thinking of tying a screw extractor. I'm hoping not to have to drop the oil pan.

Try bending a clothes hanger end small enough to sip into the tube to hook the bottom end of the tube, then use vise grips to try to bring out the tube enough to use a pair of needle nose plyers to finished the extraction

I am sure their may be more professional ways or tools for doing it, I just used a hanger one time and it worked for me:)

I have used a screw extractor before and it worked. As soon as it bites the piece, pull up as you turn it.
