steering plan, upper A arms?

I have read many many threads to help determine a very good steering set up for my 56 hardtop. It appears that using the 500 box (power) with the stock lower a-arms, new bushings, an aftermarket tilt steering column (1" shortened) and a front sway bar would make quite a nice steering and handling ride. Is it worth it to add aftermarket upper A arms? Comments appreciated! Thanks, Dave
