Well folks, I have been trying to get everything in order before I go back for surgery Thursday. I mowed Friday and Saturday. Set the mower down an inch lower so it won't need mowing as soon. Ran the weed eater and beat the grass down to the dirt (no worry, it will come back up). Fixed the crack in the back sidewalk. Pressure washed 100 feet of the driveway ( so much shade the moss grows on the concrete). Trimmed some low hanging limbs on the trees. Got a haircut Thursday. Just have two things left. Tomorrow I have to pickup some pump parts for the dishwasher and a burner control for the range. Both are Kenmore and only two years old. (May have to re-think brands next time around).
So, if you have a prayer list, please add me. The doctor is really upbeat about the surgery, so thats a good thing. He also said while he has me open he's going to look at my gall bladder. If it even looks like it may be a problem anytime soon, he is going to snatch it out while he is in there. Said it will only take an additional 5 mins.

Well Chevy fans, all went fine. I'm all plumbed back as I came from the factory. Gall bladder was fine so he left it. I did have one unpleasant thing when I went home, a rubber hose hanging out of my stomach   .
It was a drain tube used during surgery and recovery. Doctor will pull it out when I go back for my checkup next week.
Man, I forgot how bad a felt after the last surgery, LOL... That cutting makes one sore.
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I'll post more often as I can get to the puter.

Glad to hear it went ok -- I've had abdominal surgery several times and it's not pleasant! The drain tube was always taken out before leaving the hospital, though!? :)
Don't do any heavy lifting for a while

Glad to hear that all went well. Take good care of your body as it's the only one you'll get. I had a by-pass in '87 and am still doing OK. Keep smilin'.
