Turn signals do not work, both on the outside and the inside on the dash. Where do I start?
Thanks

turn signal switch in the steering column and/or the flasher

Also make sure you don`t have some pinched wires in the upper steering column.

Check the yellow wire at the plug coming out of the steering column with the key on. If you have power there, the flasher is probably good and either the connection in that plug is bad or the yellow wire is broken off the soldered connection on the turn signal switch. It's possible, but not likely that ALL the signal lights will fail if the switch itself is bad, since there are multiple contacts inside the switch.

With the lights turned off....When you select right or left turn, what do the outside bulbs do?

check the flasher can which sits under the dash around where the steering coloumn is. There should be a positive feed to one side of the can.

Yep. Mine went out and this was the problem. I have hazard lights, and I swapped the flashers; turn signals came back on. If you ask nicely at the local parts store, they may let you borrow one to test and see if that's what you need. They let me do stuff like that all the time. :D

Fixed it!! I installed a new flasher and cleaned the electrical connector coming out of the column and now it works great!
