When ya drive a Tri-Five you see a world a bit differently. Colors are a bit brighter, folks are a bit friendlier, and the unbelievable seems downright commonplace.

Except when they pull up beside you and ask if it's a 59 chev..... and it says CLSSY56 on my plate  honest... really happened.

Sometimes just sitting in my 57 gives me a different outlook on life!

Steve thanks for that reminder of how it feels to be in my 57. It has been 8 years since i`ve gotten to drive it and i`m really ready to get back behind the wheel.

I had a ride in my friend Wayne's '55 a couple of weeks ago. He has it done up like Two Lane Blacktop with the straight axle and radiused wheelwells, 454, dual quads, four speed. It was sweet!! I have '56 rustbucket.

My 57 is up on jack stands right now getting ready for a four wheel brake job and replacement of the water pump. I guess that'll take me a ittle time and then with the help of a little money I should be able to put two new tires on the front and then it's off to the road (at least I want to make it around the block!)

There's a car show on Nov. 4th around here and I'd really like to take the 57, not to enter it in the show but just to "arrive" there driving it! That's my goal, now let's get going....

They may ask about your car Travis, but that shows that they are not sleeping. You get noticed going down the road in a trifive. I can tell a trifive by the roofline from a distance.

Good Luck to you on That mike. Hope it works out that you'll be able to take your 57 to the Show. My newest discovery is that I am leaking brake fluid somewhere. Not a bad leak but just started driving the 57 quite a bit more and noticed my brakes where getting a bit squishy so check the fluid and it was pretty low. That was a week ago and yesterday they started going squishy on me again. Checked the fluid level and noticed that again the fluid was VERY low. Guess, it's time for me to take a closer look at the brake system.

Steve since it was parked for awhile i`d have a look at the wheel cylinders. You should be able to look under the car and look on the inside of each wheel and if one is leaking it will usually show there.

I can't tell you how many times a young kid at a gas station said "Awesome Camaro, man!" while he was filling up my 69 Chevelle. Some people just don't know, but at least they show an interest in the ride...LOL
