Just bought my 55 last week.It's a red and white,210 two door post.I found this web site while looking for info the week before I picked it up.Looks like a good web site and I've got lots of questions being new to trifive's.

Tried to post pictures,will try again later.The car drives well and the paint and interior are pretty good.But it has tin rot in the floor and somebody had taken a hammer to the firewall in an attempt to shoe horn a big block in it.I think I can handle the the rotten floor but the firewall will be a challenge to repair.

Does it still have a big block in it or has it been returned to a small block? It will be hard to work on with any engine in it.

The big block is gone,it now has a 283 with Edelbrock intake and carb.Your right,the engine will have to pulled to fix the firewall.That will be a good time to do some clean up and painting on the 283.

Just don`t let the cleanup end in a frame off 2-3 year adventure. Look at my pics and see what can happen when it gets out of control just doing a few things.
