trunk lid

what would be a fair price for a 57 trunk lid. I talked to a guy today and he said he has one that is in good shape and he wants $250 for it. is that a good price?

East Coast Chevy wants $839 for a new trunk lid for a '57.

$250 sounds OK but there should be a whole lot of em still out there if you consider all the models 2 & 4 doors not to mention the 5,6,&7's. Different badge's though

If it` in perfect shape i`d say a good price. That is also about the average price . I`ve seen them from 50.-400.00. If you keep an eye out you can still find a decent deal. I found one for 100.00 about 2 1/2 years ago.
