Hi
while waiting for my frame to come for my 55 belair, I've been working on my 70 roadrunner. it was starting just fine but after search for the back up wire, now i have nothing when I try to start. I have power to everything else, headlights, dome, radio but starter does not turn. It will if i hit the relay across the post.

Any Ideas of what it could be? I have yet to check bulk head for corrosion but after that I don't know what to check? I have a red, blue, brown, black and yellow wire going to the ignition switch. The yellow i believe is going to the starter relay. I've checked the fusable link, i only see one????

You might want to check the nutreal safety swicth.

You could loan me that roadrunner and I will fix it for you, of course it will involve a lot of test driving.

I use to have a 1970 super bee.

Otis

those roadrunners are fun to drive, just put a 4-speed in it. Beep Beep!

turns out I had a couple wires reversed at the relay.

too easy now. but it sure took a few days to figure it out

thanks for your reply

Had a 69' RT convertible. I won't say what I sold it for, in 74. :o
