rack and pinion with hooker headers

i have a set of 2112 hooker super comp headers and im thinking about rack and pinion. will they work? or what power box would work?

Anybody used Hooker headers with a rack&Pinion?

There's probably too many variables here. Front steer, rear steer? Engine moved forward or not? What rack? Does your rack mount let you rotate the input shaft?

Answer is they probably don't work with some of the above, maybe all.

Don't know if these pics will help or not. 2112 headers, stock mounts removed, engine/trans sitting forward 1/4" from stock, 500 steering box. It would be tough routing your steering shaft through the drivers header. They(hooker) left a decent amount of room for clutch linkage, but it's tight everywhere else on the drivers side. Didn't know if a picture would help or not, so here they are.
