Hey Guy's, Has anyone used or seen a rack set-up where the input shaft is angled back instead of up, I know not too many like the u-bolt set up but like a few on here big motor and big headers = no room to run up then back with the shaft. I was looking at my set-up and if I could rotate the rack back I could run along the frame and then up to the steering column with a 3rd univ. and a heim of course. I tried the CPP 500 and that was a costly mistake (70 for restock + shipping, ouch) and the need for a notched pan that sits too close to the ground....Any thoughts from the been there and tried that. Thanks.....

Thanks C/N, who's rack if I can ask?, I might need a little more lay back with my header set-up, but that is what I have been looking for...

The rack in CN's setup is for a front steer car, you need a rear steer rack(dont ask how I know). I have a 95 Caviler rack in the wagon and snaked the shaft through the headers. I also cut out one rear pipe and redid it to clear the clutch linkage, Good day, Henry.
