Installing a concept one box, using a pump kit from east coast chevy, (late model pump, alan grove brackets, etc.) Problem is with a small block and short water pump, the required addition of the stacked pump pulley on the balancer now causes fan interference problems with that new pulley, (the engine side of blades hits the pulley by over 1"). With radiator in v8 position, I already only have about 3/4" front of fan to radiator clearance. The fan is a stainless flex fan...anyone know of a really low profile flex fan to use instead, or any other ideas?....thought about electric fan but most are also to thick to be used as a puller, will a good pusher do the trick as the only fan?

Midniterider, I had to switch to a pusher electric fan on my '34 3 window coupe, 350/350. No heat problems! TJN/56NOMAD, PS 190 stat

Midnight rider,
Is there any clearance to shim the fan foward enough to clear the additional pulley and not have the fan hit the rad ?? and for the next trip there is always the 6 cyl position ......fun no matter how you slice it !!!!:D
