Window Problems

Hi,
My rear windows do anything but come straight down and straight up. They have to be helped into position before they will move. DO I need new regulators and guides? Can you buy these? Thanks

Hardtop or post car? On my sedan, one of them would go up, then I had to pull it forward, then up somemore. The channel on the bottom has rusted into, so the guide wheel in the back wasn't in it's track.

Working on a 55 Post. Are all of the window parts available?

The post rear windows do not go staight down. The back end just kinda swivels in the half moon track, and the front goes downward and back some.

It could be a combinations of a few things or just one. You are goping to have to remove the side panel and access cover and stick your eyeball in there with a light to have a look. Everything is availible to repair it. Kind of a pain but go slow and figure out just what the problem is. It's sure nice having smooth windows the are tight when rolled up:tu
