Wondering what others would suggest for tires on my 55 post. Fronts are 205 65 15s and rears are 245 60 15s. Rims are rally wheels with the front of the car lowered one inch and the rear stock. I have the springs moved inward for bigger tires. Tires look a little too small, especially the fronts. What have you found that works good? Rear diff is stock 3.55 or whatever and I turn about 3500 rpm or so at 60-65 mph.
Thanks

Sorry if this was suppose to go to tech section. I will move it and ask the question there.

I have 235/70-15’s on the front and 255/70-15’s on the back of my ’56. I wanted big tall tires that filled the wheel wells on my car. I also like the look of tall sidewalls. Even though they are much bigger than stock, they never rub.

Steve, that is one of the best looking 56 Chevy's I have seen, great tires rims, color combo. And not to low to the ground.

A seven inch wheel and a 235/60 or 65 series seems to be the most common for the front. Search for Mike55 and check out his ride. He's got the offset of the wheels dialed in IMO. The wheels are tucked in but not TOO tucked in, and it's got a great stance. 275/60's and 8 or 8.5 inch wide wheels for the back will fit great with the springs moved in.
