I have the wrong voltage regulator for my 57, I bought this at a swap meet but it has no markings on it, so I am assuming it is a 25amp unit. I have the 35amp generator power steer unit, so according to the specs, I should be looking for a Delco Remy 1119002 voltage regulator, but without success. Did they supercede that part number with another p/n, because I have seen another unit on Ebay which says it is 35amp, but p/n 111264 Delco Remy, anyone know the best remedy, I am restoring the car, but I'm not a fanatic (yet!)

Thumper, I've got a regulator I took out of my 57 when I went to an alternator. I also had the stock power steering. This regulator must be aftermarket, as it has no name on the cover or anywhere else. It worked in my car so it should work in yours. It's yours if you'll pay the shipping, which i'd guess to be in the 5 to 10 dollar range. You can send me an address at,
jimhard10@aol.com and I'll send it to you as I have no use for it. Hope this helps.

Thumper I just now noticed that you're in New Zealand so the shipping might be more then I thought. Let me know and I'll get a shipping quote.

Thanks for the offer, not all p/s generators were 35amp, so yours may be the 30amp unit. At the moment I will await another source to see what that offers. Great offer though, thanks!
