OK, so I really dig the way the original 57 Bel Air - Red and Cloud interior looks. Especially in a black car.

I still have my original back seat and have acquired an original front bench. I plan on going with this interior with the exception of black carpets and black windlace as my headliner and windlace are only a few years old.
Here’s the twist.
I have a black 1956 210 2 door sedan. I just think the 57 interior is super stylish. I’m not concerned with correctness and have no plans to sell the car as I have owned it since January of 1983. I previously had pillowy black cloth front and rear seats from an 78 Eldorado in the car since like 85. The split power bench was ultra comfy (like sitting on your couch), but it never looked “right”.
I think this interior will look good, but probably tick off the purists.
My 56 dash is black, stock looking and my gauges will now be hidden in the glove box. I’ve got a column shifted auto.
thoughts?
Regards,
Dan
