Ok guys just want to clarify a query i have with the sender unit as in which side do i connect the brown wire to.
Laying underneath the car with your head at the diff and your feet under the rear bumper, looking up of course at the sender on the front of the fuel tank, i presume you connect the brown wire to the right terminal and the left one is a earth. is this correct?
This is the only way i can get a response from the fuel gauge back in the dash, at the moment the fuel gauge reads full when you turn the ignition on, so i went chasing under the car to check the earth on the rear sender and found no wires connected to it, i found the brown wire just hanging there and no earth connected. So i tried it on both terminals and the right terminal was the one i got a response from, so i just want to double check that i am right before connecting it all up accordingly.
