55-56 frame question

quick question...is the frame for a 55 post the same as a 56 post?...I was told that they are the same can anyone confirm this? Reason being is i have access to a aftermarket chassis for a 55 post and iam building a 56 post...can anyone help thanks for your time

Same, except for the rear spring shackle.

Taking Auggie's comment a bit farther, the 56 shackle mount is wider.

All you have to do is use 56 shackles, which have a curved profile. The springs and bushings are the same.

There is also a small tab on the 55 frame to mount the lower inner fender. The 56 has one too, but I don't know if it's in the same place. It would be easy enough to move it though.
