chat room

Is there a way to check on past chats in the room. Seems i check it from time to time and the room is empty.The time i check is late at night as i work from 3-11 and everyone is sleeping like i should be.

BACK you must be in a different time zone, I'm on EDT. I'm usually checkin out the chat until around 12midnite to 1 AM because I'm havin a hard time sleeping due to my surgery, BTW don't forget that this week ends Daylight Savings Time if you area is on it. Turrn clocks BACK 1 hr on Sat nite, Sunday morning.

The last few times I've checked into the chat room and another member is shown as being there I write a message to them but never get a response, am I doing something wrong or not doing something right? it seems pretty straight forward so I'm confused.

Hopefully that has been corrected, members being still logged in without being online, one of or members wanted to log into the chat and watch without chatting so I increased the time a person can stay logged in without chatting, so it made that member happy, but it automatically affected 2 other areas, one is it did not automatically log people out for an hour even if they did not post anything, second when people close out the chat room instead of logging out with the log out button, they just closed the brouser to exit, , so the chat room waited 1 hour before dropping thier name from the in chat list, so I set the chat room back to the original settings to correct the last 2 problems, so the bottom line is if you are in the chat room please try to participate by typing something every few minutes so you won't be dropped from the list. I also set more time for old messages to be displayed.

What's the answer to the original problem, otis? Can we access past chats, or as I asked in the other thread, can we somehow take a look at the time-frame just prior to logging on so we can see what's going on when we enter the chat room?

I have now set the chat room to display the last 15 minutes of messages when you login you should be able to see whats being talked about
