New leaf spring advice...

This topic may have been talked about before...I'm going to change my leaf springs in my 57 Chevy. My question is would you go for the after market 5 leaf or get some custom made. The cost is say double for the custom made ones.
Are the after market type junk and do they fit etc. When i talk to the custom made outfit he says they are Junk... BUT??? any advice here pls..Peter

with regards to the leaf springs . Dose anyone have a driver side lower shock/u bolt plate for a 57 chevy 4 dr.sedan...Thanks again... Peter

Mine were made in the USA and are exactly the same as the originals. The fit is perfect but I did move my leafs under the frame rails.
