Well, I've just returned from the hospital and it's now been determined he had a MILD heart attack, yesterday. But, since the cardiologist said come see him in a month, he's clearly not overly worried. But, Gene is very blue (sad). :(

Sorry to hear that. It could have been alot worse though. I'm glad it wasn't.

Oh, tell him to get out of bed and quit faking it. We need orders shipped! :D He is going to do fine. Nothing a little TLC and chicken noodle soup can't fix.

Seriously though, we are keeping you both in our prayers.

Tell him for us he's a much stronger man than he thinks, he must push the blues away & be happy with the knowledge his surgery went so well. A mild heart attack he can recover from in no time & adjustments are small & minor. God's purpose in life for him is not over just merely starting & he has his whole life ahead of him so tell him to trust in God & start enjoying life again. Plus he has a wife who loves & needs him by her side just as she stayed by his when he needed her most. You must lift your spirits unto the Heavens & God will do the rest.

Tell him we're thinking about him and to cheer up it's too cold to get the 57 out right now anyway. but if he needs me to take it for a spin I'll bit the bullet and do it for him.

I know it set you back a little, but they are on top of your situation, sounds like a very capable group you have look after you, some patients and some time and you'll be driving you ride before you know it..:tu

Thank you for the update. Sounds as though Gene will be mobile before to long. You are both in my prayers and God will watch over him and help him through this.

Looks like Gene has plenty of prayers offered up. I was taught that you can't pray enough; so one more family praying for Gene, his recovery and his family.

Just returned from lunch-time visit. He's got scrubs on, and enjoyed his "real" breakfast and was eyeing the lunch menu. Got a sponge bath and walked the hall a bit. Now tired. Pain ball was removed, so he must depend on pills for relief. All in all, A-OK. I told him about your preparations for James Dean, and he laughed.
