I am going to build a 350 for my 56 it will be for street use with Edelbrock heads and performer cam 10:1 comp Elderbrock Air Gap intake but I1m not sure what carb to use a Elderbock Thunder seriese 800 cfm or a Holly 750 cfm double pumper. Any advise?

My thoughts are toward the 750. However the guys at Edelbrock can tell you very close what works best with the head cam combo. I have seen many guys get crazy on CFM and find later they are losing HP because of it.

I know a QuadraJet aint as cool, but for street, it's hard to beat.

I would not want either one. Your combination sounds relatively mild. I would suggest the Holley Street Avenger 670 c.f.m. I think you would be happier with vacuum secondaries for the street.

Check with edelbrock if thats the brand you want. In this area bigger is not always better. Terry.
