BBC tall valve covers work with manual steering?

I am looking at installing a tall deck big block in my 57' and was wondering if a manual brake master cylinder will clear tall valve covers.

I am going to be moving the engine forward a bit for firewall clearance and making my own mounts and trans crossmember, and was looking at a moroso 55-57 pan.
