Ok , for anyone following my build..
I have a 331,voodoo cam 268/276 489/504
2200 stall
10.2:1 CR
600 edel with 107/100 jets...
dart irons. 2.02/1.60
180R
64CC

I just pulled out a cam and tunnel ram...
Need advice on a carb...
lunati says 700cfm or better..

I hate to over carb..I know I should only need a 650cfm per my numbers with math...but we all know things look better on paper than real life!

I was just reading an article on a 340 stock bore with the same cr almost same CI less cam and running an 800??

My plugs look perfect now,but I am also behind on timing a little...

Anyone DARE run an 800 on this set-up???

I would go with at least a 750. The engine is just an air pump and a larger carb will let more air in.

Dangit...lol
I should have went 800 w/ the endurashine!lol:D
I like shiny stuff...

Going by the math
CID x RPM / 1728 / 2 x VE
I should need LESS than a 600cfm:eek:

Like I said before though...some things just look good on paper!:D

I dont thinkg the 750 should kill it...I am also going to be almost the SAME jet size and spring size now too!

You'd probably have better driveability with a smaller carb, but for what you have the 750 would be better on top end.
