56 210 Beauville 9 passenger wagon, assembled in LA, spent first 40+ years in Upland, California. Originally equipped as PP w/PG dual exhaust car, custard and mustard paint. B& W interior.
Engine:
'72 350 block-.030 over, Callies internally-balanced stroker crank-1/4", 5.7" rods, 9.5 cr Ross pistons, 72cc Dart Pro-1 heads, Comp cams valvetrain: hydraulic rollers, full roller 1.6 rockers, E-brock Performer RPM Air-gap intake, Holley street HP 750cfm vacuum 2ndary, MSD ignition.
Remainder of Drivetrain:
B&M TH350, 2200 stall 11" convertor, 3-1/2" aluminum shaft, Moser 9", 3.25 on True-Trac, 31 spline axles.
Suspension and Brakes:
Front: Tubular upper and lower A-frames, McGaughy 605 box, CJ Rods tilt column, 7/8" repro sway bar, SSBC Force 10 disks on 11" chromed and slotted SSBC rotors; 1-1/8" bore MC with 9" booster, rear 10-1/2" disks with F^*d Turbo T-Bird calipers reversed from SSBC, Stock 6 leaf springs, Monroe air shocks to frame-mounted shock bar, Classic-Fab preload traction bars
Exhaust: Hooker coated Super Comps, flowmaster 50's 2-1/2" pipes
Wheels and tires: 7" Passenger car rallyes, 235-70R 15's front, 255-70R 15's rear
Body: Extensively massaged to replace rusted floors, rockers, doglegs, roof corner, A pillars, inner and outer cowls. Exterior sheetmetal and front fenders were solid. Painted BC-CC '58 Chev Aegean Turquoise and '66 Ermine white. All stainless original and polished, All door glass and windshield replaced, all weatherstripping, fuzzies etc. replaced.
Interior: Vintage AC, Raingear, Custom Autosound radio, B&M ratchet shifter, carpet,windlace, headliner, all cargo boards and carpet replaced.
OVERALL THEME: Mid-to-late 60's Jr Stocker/Street Racer/Modified Production look without being threatening to Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Public. No setback, no buckets, no flames, NHRA legal.
Performance Goal: high 12's at 108-110 on the motor without sacrificing the creature comforts or cruise capability. Need to cut .8-.9 seconds off, all in first 60'
Planned changes: Definitely bigger gear (3.90) in its own pumpkin and MT ET drag DOT radials and more tuning to allow a harder launch without loosening up the convertor.
