mannn that car looks SOLID!!! Nice work Buddy . And excellent job on the wheel arches , a 57 is VERY tough to get a good lookin radius and stay true to the flowing lines of the original wheel opening , Looks like you nailed it , that looks great.

the wheel arches were done in the 60's so unfortunatly i cant take credit for that

Looks like you are getting some work done on it. Are you going to leave the wheel arches like that or are you going to do the edges like they did project X back in the day?

i plan to leave wheel arches like that because to fix them i have to replace the quarters plus i like the nostalgic look of it with the 69 nova hubcaps

one of the previous owners cut the firewall and trans tunnel to move motor back. i have the firewall i m getting ready to put it in and replace the trans tunnel

i finally got the firewall welded back in gonna start on the floor repairs and fender repairs will post some more pics as soon as i can

Have you considered adding a rolled edge to those arches? It would add a nice finished touch! I've seen it done with 3/4" conduit, a bit of work but it looks like you're up to it!

the truck in the back ground is a 65' chevy short-bed step-side i'm working on it as i aquire parts. the big block is a 72' 402 i think i'm gonna put it in the truck and find a 327 to put in the 57' unless buy some chance i come across a 409 for real cheap

more pics 1st is firewall 2nd is drivers fender both fenders need the same repairs does anyone make the repair panel that big
