About time to do the initial install of the rad for the 6.0.
I'm inclined to use a rubber mount type attachment. In doing a google, I have come across this setup.

[I think it may avoid the problems w/ the alum cradles not fitting.]
NE1 with comments? NE1 use this setup?
I saw another rubber mounted rad kit:
Looks like I could do the "custom install" thing w/ this one.

Bob over at progressive is excellent to deal with, and the products are first rate. Would be doing the same right now if I could get someone to return a phone call, so I could fax them specs for a radiator. Talk about trying to throw maoney at someone and them not wanting it.

the economy is in the toilet, businesses are going tango uniform every day. Yet, we are seeing folks having experiences like you are..
"Talk about trying to throw money at someone and them not wanting it." Ol Bob may do nice rads, but he'd pull that nonsense on me ONE TIME, and he's out.:bebored:
I tried to hire a well known dirt guy for my yard renovation..Out of work so long, he had to sell his equipment, and rent it back..Called him repeatedly.. "be there Friday"..I'm still wondering which fri he's referring to.:y:

Thanks for the heads up!

I guess I misled you, never ever had a problem with Progressive, just from a sponsor of this site.

Chuck! The Package your looking at from Progressive is actually made in Glendale Arizona(Phoenix) by Dave Hill. His company name is Sweet Components as you see on the Progressive site. www.sweet components.com , take a peek at that site. I spend the winters in the Phoenix area and this last winter picked a complete package for a 57 from him. The craftmanship is a ten and he does build for Ls set ups. Again, his name is Dave Hill. phone 480-221-5507, Sweet Components. He gave me a very fair price and everything was exactly as he said it would be.

I didn't interpret your comments as to the problem being w/ someone other than Progressive.

thanks for the heads up! Progressive is a middleman. I guess going directly to the "horses mouth" may be the way to go!

One of ther nicest parts I have ever installed was a radiator and crosmember I bought from one of our vendors SRS. Not sure if thats the folks you had service problems with. The parts fit the finish was great. It was the nicest part and added the most to my car during the last upgrade. However I didn't need support it all fit. I mounted some rubber under the center frame mount but the rest was rubber to rubber.
