I will sell for $200 shipped to your door (saving over $160)....48 states only and preferred....

Are these for a HT or a sedan? Or are they the same? I know the 4-door sedan ones are different.

i am 99% sure they are for a hardtop...as they guy i got them from a few months back had 2 hardtops and a nomad...and i KNOW they arent for a nomad lol. I can post some actual pictures this evening if that helps...im not sure how exactly to tell by looking at them.
if all else fails i will match them up to my new ones on the inner quarters

They seem to be different for a HT and sedan....

Here's one for a sedan:

Here's one for a HT:

Here's one for a convertible:

Here's on for a 4-door sedan:

I just wonder why they needed to be different.

That is a good question, why they would be different hdtp to sedan to convertible even the change of 4dr, there really is no change in that area, they really should be all the same?:confused0006::confused0006::confused0006:

Convertible has a dent for the top to lay down.
4 door has the door edge cut back a little.

Seems to me they all have the same shape.
Just subtle differences.

On a side note, i didny get a chance to take a pic, but the ones im selling look 100% like the hardtop ones. Thats exactly what i thought. so these ARE hardtop housings.

The first picture you posted that you said your parts looked "exactly" like was of a sedan wheelwell. Compare the pics, especially the crease. ;)

The first pic i posted was a generic pic for reference. That was before i knew all of them were different. Looking at the other pics, mine are def. For a hardtop.

Well if they were for a sedan, I might have been interested. I will need to minitub my 56 sedan at some point. These would sure save someone some time on a minitub job for a hardtop. All you would need is one weld down the center, instead of fabbing a strip and making two long welds.
