57 210 sedan Resin Body

I Found one on E-bay yesterday!! Seller is jerome6970. I assume that he will be casting more of these (he had 3 available yesterday when I bought).
At $18.45, his price is reasonable. I'll post about quality when I get the body.
Donor kit is Revell's new 150 kit.

Got tired of waiting for the new Revell BelAir 2 door sedan (which I'll still buy if they ever release it).

I didn't know Revell was doing a 2dr sedan. :happy0030: Is it a Belair or 150? I sure like the 150/ Black widow kit even though it was pricey.

The Revell 57 kit that recently came out is a 150 Black Widow 2 in 1 kit, Revell #85-4240.
A kit slated for future release By Revell is the BelAir 2 door sedan, #85-4251.
Some online hobby retailers are taking advance orders, & indicating that Revell may release it around February, 2010.
As for a link to the resin body seller on e-bay, I would recommend going to advanced search, entering the seller's ID (from my original post). It will bring you to his items for sale. I checked him this morning: no '57 bodies listed. I hope he plans to list more of them.
Also, the body came this week: while it has the usual resin imperfections, overall I would say it's a good resin cast. I compared it to the Revell 150 body. The dimensions seem very good.

It is a sweet model, although I havent bought it yet, I just bought
a '57 210 w/tilt front end. Not to meantion 2 other '57's and a '55'
The wife is going to kill me if i spend too much more......

From experience I can tell you its easier to ask/get forgivness than permission.:sign0020: Yes I did get the Black widow. Manage to find a 30% off coupon from our local HobbyLobby and got it for $16 and some change. Dwight
