Cluster wiring has me stumped.....

I am almost done with the 57 Cameo rewiring project. I am down to chasing a few wiring problems.

The ammeter gauge in the instrument cluster has 4 prongs. I have figured out what's connected to 3 of them (thanks MikeB!) but the 4th one has me stumped. The gauge does not register anything at all, so I think I'm missing something.

All new Factory Fit wiring harnesses, which were awesome, only a few minor problems with them, and a new fuse block.

Here's a pic of the cluster viewed from the top and the temp gauge and ammeter gauge pulled out. The arrow points to the extra prong.

I've looked at the wiring diagrams in the shop manual and the assembly manual, neither show the needed wire. Also found a few diagrams posted here and other sites, again no luck. Anybody have a clue?

i just checked, there's only the 3 connections on my 57 step. That fourth prong is not connected.

Thanks for the reply. So yours also has only three of the four connectors used? If so, I guess the gauge itself is not working.
