Here is the info on my engine. It a 383 with Edelbrock RPM Alum. 64 cc. heads. The cam Is a Comp cam # 12-430-8 525 lift Hyd roller Duration@.050 224 224 1.6 Ratio roller rockers IT also has a Edelbrook Torker II, Holly 4160 750 cfm shiny sliver exterior. A MSD distributor, blaster coil and MSD – 6A box. The water temp run around 180 all the time.. New hand made headers to come next month. Computer H.P. says 425.

Has a 700R4 hook to a set of 411 gears.

Nice motor for the street to cruze with.

Did you build the motor yourself or did you have a shop do it for you? I live in Ottawa, just Southwest of you and am curious in that I would like to have a 383 built for me!

Sounds like a nice, not to over the top engine mate. Did you do anything to the 700 to handle the extra grunt, i'm thinking of putting a 700 in down the track a little and i don't mind the odd burnout :D

Sounds very streetable and healthy at the same time. The 411 gears with the 700R should give good off the line punch and good cruise RPM's.
