I use to love watching Knight Rider as a kid growing up! I forgot about the Knight Rider 2000 show, when Michael Knight puts KITT into a 1957 chevy! Was pretty sweet when I found this video haha!

Yeah, I remember it too. I couldn't think of a better car for KITT to be in.
Like always the acting was horrible, but I loved it.

Something I couldn't figure out.... If KITT was the car of the future and basically indestructable, why did they junk him out, not to mention, KITT had a personality and almost "human" like qualities. It seems like getting rid of the Trans Am (black t-top in later episodes), was almost sinister. Like killing someone and then a brain transplant into another body.


By the way, I have KITT in 1:25th scale along with the Knight Rider 2000 car.
I have to build the 2000 car yet, but KITT looks great. Actually I have 2. One I bought when the show was on the air. It's been kinda beat up, so I am going to rebuild it as a convertible like in the final season. The other I bought on Ebay and had to rebuild because the guy who had it did a bad job.
