I don't know about anyone else, and granted I am a Newbie so perhaps I should not out of the box suggest anything, but ... would anyone object to starting a California Page? I want to mix with everyone, but I would like to find those who live close too! Thoughts? or does it already exist? Or.. diff Ideas?

Hello fellow Californian, Welcome. I understand your thinking, but you'll soon find which of the active members are local. Possibly meet them at local shows and such, I have. Don't think there's a need to divide forum by state.

I LIKE THE IDEA. THE GREAT THING ABOUT THIS WEBB SITE IS THE WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE YOU GET FROM THE MEMBERS NATIONWIDE AND YOU CAN "CHAT" WITH EACH ONE AN A DAILY BASIS. BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO KNOW WHO THE TRI-FIVERS ARE IN YOUR STATE. I'M SURE THERE ARE MANY MEMBER THAT VISIT THIS WEBB SITE THAT YOU MISS IF YOU DON'T READ EACH INDIVIDUAL THREAD THAT IS POSTED. IS THERE A WAY THAT YOU COULD SEPARATE MEMBERS BY STATE WITHOUT HAVING TO CHECK EACH INDIVIDUAL MEMBER'S LOCATION? AGAIN,THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR THE "WORLDWIDE" PARTICIPATION ON THIS SITE, BUT IT WOULD BE TERRIFIC TO KNOW WHO YOU LOCAL BUDDIES ARE. THANKS

I agree with Phil on this.
Welcome to the site give it a while you will like it. If we do one state we will have to do all 50. and then comes the territories and countries.:anim_25:

Insuranceman, another Californian here, just a ways north of you:D This has sort of been brought up before here and other sites. There is a map, at least I think its still up and working, where you can post where you live by city. It gives you an idea, but it is not used that much. With 50 states and I don't know how many countries involved here it could be a huge project for the web master Otis.
We are one big family and we post events and activities that we are going to to attend, or sometimes wish we are going to attend. I know Phil (ratpackin) and I and others have gotten together at shows in the area and I hear of others doing the same. I think as it was said you will soon see the active ones in your area and know who to "chat" with on and off line here.
Along the same line we could do a chat room at a different time for the west coast boys and girls than the world wide one, but even then there is hardly ever anyone on when I jump on there:confused0006:

:) As has been stated, not really a need for state by state groupings.
If asking for help or advice I would like the entire memberships input.
