convert top seal

So has anyone actually got one of these tops to seal against weather? I mean really seal. I have used the traditional roof rail seals from danchucks that are the cloth covered rubber type. The fit and function is terrible...not even close to the beat up ones the car came with. Has anyone tried the more modern kind that Ecklers has? They are made from what looks to be like a soft seal type weatherstrip. Just wondering if they work any better.

D.C. i`m not sure any convertible of any year or model has ever sealed off totally perfect. Just look at some of them going down the road with a bubble top roof. :D

True enough, but I would like to figure out a way to make thus one better then it is, and those newer style roof rail seals look interesting. Just wondering if anyone has used them.
