I bought some Aeroquip -6AN x 16 mm and -6AN x 18 mm fittings to connect up my hydroboost with stainless/teflon hose.

The 16mm fitting bottoms out correctly in its port - on the o-ring end not the hex. The 18mm fitting screws in until it bottoms out on the hex - not right.

My CPP500 steering box is the same way - but I have flare seats and fittings for it.

An 18mm tube fitting on an old p/s hose screws in correctly on both also - bottoms out on the o-ring end not the hex on the tube nut.

I can face off the hex on the Aeroquip fitting on the lathe but wonder if there are other solutions for an adapter.

Also there is a 12 mm x 3/8" barb fitting for the drain line on the hydoboost. Does anybody know of a fitting that can be used there?

I just wondered what anybody else is using in the same situation.

Been awhile since I'v done the fittings and I still havent installed my hydroboost but my son did turn down one of the fitting area where the wrench would go so it would seat right, I talked to Paul over at Hydrotech or what ever the name is and he said you didnt have to do anything at all and it would work OK

I found this thread and wanted to put it back up top on the list, as i am looking into the hydroboost systems.
