Replaced manual steering with cylinder type power assist.When sitiing still
steering will jerk when turning.Turning a curve it fells like it has a catch in it.Valve and cylinder where supposed to have been rebuilt.Any help anybody??:confused: :confused: :mad: THANKS

Most common problem causing that is A. loose belt B. bad pump or C air in the system. If it's the original pump, we can rule out the belt. Are you sure the air is all out of the system? Might be worth a try to jack the front up and with the engine running and cycle the wheel from stop to stop several times. If it's air, that should get the air out.

Thanks MIke pump off vehicle that was working fine.New belt not slipping.Left it jack stands and cycled 3 or four times.Might try again and again.Thanks for the help.:rolleyes: ;) ;)
