The full length top of fin trim and the aluminum insert is the way allot of people distinguish the 57 Chevy , so I say Belair.

Sedan or Sportscoupe?

Either

I was thinking I saw some previous statements in here somewhere saying how the post cars (sedans) have become more desireable lately and that the 150 trim preference was also on the rise??

Who cares which trim level. If you are just lucky enough to own a 57 then you should be happy. I always liked the Bel Airs the best but my views have changed over the years. Heck i even like the 4drs these days too.

I marked Bel Air because I want a '57 Nomad. However I would settle for an Australian '57 two door any model.

Popular with who? Not sure I understand your question, but with the general public, I'd say full on BelAir.
I like them too, but I'm also fond of 210s and 150s (better be :) ).
-For car guys, it think it mostly depends on the car's condition, mods and detail, not the model.

The reason for the poll is me and a friend were talking about which was most popular. He was saying the bel airs and I was saying the 150s were gaining momentum. Just curious what those of you who are buying them now prefer.

With this comment... You need to start a total different poll. Maybe not... I still say... BEL AIR !!!!!!

I have never owned a 57 (yet) and always thought if I did it would be a Belair... However, I think a 150 4 door two toned and stock looking with 15 inch wheels (to hide disk brakes) would make a cool sleeper:sleep:Later, Dave

I think the "public" gravitates toward the bel-airs, me personally prefer the 210 mainly because the gold colored trim pieces don't do anything for me.

Myself....In the hardtop, I prefer the 210.....In the sedan, its a toss up between the 210 and 150.

Hi Hot. While the 150's &210's are really my first choice, see No Way they will EVER be more popular than the 57 2 door hardtop. It is one of the most recognized vehicles in the Universe. The car that is the LEGEND. If you have one, treasure it and use and preserve it. That being said, I choose the 55 2 dr hdt (no accounting for taste). :wavey: Lloyd

Most popular...? Where? Around my house the 150 is the most popular. A few weeks ago I attended an all tri five show, about 150 to 200 tri five chevys showed up. I counted five 57 150's including mine. Not exactly the most popular.:)

i think you will get different opinions from everyone, i like the 210 the best, but a 150 done up like a black widow is bitchin, combine that with a zz430 , 373 gears, 700 r4, throw on some steelies with some dog dish hub caps, nice exhaust, ok dump the the 700 r4 and lets put in a 5-6 spd, oh boy lets go have some fun, but then i built mine to drive the wheels off and i do all the time, if you see something orange fly by you it's me, heck if it brakes i'll fix it after all i built it.
like i have said before if you don't drive them you might as well have a die cast.:bowtier:

I like all of them! I prefer something different there are so many Belairs and 210's at shows - people do recognize them for all there chrome, fin and family fun they had growing up with one.

I think more families/people back in the day bought and remember the 4 door Belair/210/150 because everyone had one garage if they had a garage and it was more family oreintated back then.

We own a 1957 150 Utiltiy Sedan - we get a lot of attention and kudos at shows because the majority of people and tri-five clubs around here haven't even see one in person some never even knew they existed - WOW not that is an exciting and interesting converstation.

You know how I voted. LOL

Mine happens to be a Bel air, But like some of the other guys have said, If I had the money I would buy everyone of them I found! Mine is a sedan belair which I think is desirable but I also find that I dont see many belair sedans....
