I'm starting an engine swap in my '56 210 sport coupe. We've got a 355 small block with a muncie 4 speed going in and are going to locate the engine 3/4" forward with the Danchuk mounts to accomodate the HEI ignition.
My questions is on the radiator mount when we hook up the cooling system.
Because the engine will sit farther forward do I need to reverse the core support so that the radiator mount flanges are in front of the core support instead of behind the core support as they are now?
If I do this do I need a long water pump or will the short one work?
I'd appreciate any help from someone who has done this! Does anyone have a picture of what it should look like?

If the core support in a 56 is anything like the 57, it angles some on the fender area and can`t be turned around. You can get the relocater to move it forward if you want to keep the same core support.
