I bought a 56 wagon last year. Has a early 70's 350 v-8, hooker headers, B&M shifter, and cherry bomb exhaust. I am fairly new to working on old cars. I used to have a 57'Olds "88", drove the heck out of it, but never quit on me. My Dad, being a car guy all his life, always was ablr to help me out trying to solve little issues. Well, I got married and moved a distance away from him, so I am anticipating visiting this site often to try to get advice from you young guys, and especially from you "old timers", ( I say that with much respect), that have been wrenching for years. I thank you all in advance for your patience with us newbies. Since my 56 has been rodded already, to bring it back to stock would most likely be a poor financial decision, so I will most likely bring it to a 50's period rod.
