Hi i am looking for the right fitting for my ac firewell inline or square or others. I put a smothe firewell in my 55 Thanks Tim

I used the one from Billet Specialties that's diamond shaped, and it works well...then I hid it. :rolleyes:

I put mine as far to the passenger side as it would go without cutting into the cowl plenum. Then you'll have to get some hoses custom built to connect everything up.

You can barely see the small liquid line hose in the photo. All this is a tight fit. The fittings on the heater hoses are custom welded ones from Vintage Air.

We made our own firewall plate using the factory Vintage Air output lines. Then we used the Billet Specialties bulkhead unit on the inner fender...

Fifty-five, what hose and end fittings are you using? Is the hose AeroQuip A/C hose? The AeroQuip fittings I have are nickel, and it looks like yours are chrome.

Nice engine compartment. ;)

Mine looks a lot like Rick's inside...I think we were doing them about the same time. One of my lines is a hard line due to the close quarters.
