View Full Version : Prayers requested for my nephew

My nephew Josh (30yrs) is undergoing thyroid surgery today. Going in, the doctors knew that they would have to take 1/2 of his thyroid out. They will know better when they operate; they may need to take the whole thing. In a text conversation with him today, his spirits were good.

He texted, "Well, the Lord will take care of me today. The outcome may not be how I exactly want, but the Lord is with me through this."

My son (trifive member#1BRADii) and I just finished praying when my nephew's wife sent us a text that Josh was going in.

The one good thing if they do have to remove it there is medication to take in its place. The Lord knows what He's doing.

God & the Guardian Angels, please watch over Josh keep him safe during & after surgery. Grant him a speedy recovery. And also ease his families worries.

First, let me say that you all are great! It is nice to know that we have trfive family members around the world that care. Cars are awesome, but the show here for my nephew and all the others out there going thru life's troubles/trials continues amaze me. Thanks for your support.

Josh's surgery went well yesterday and he was able to go home. The doctors only took 1/2 of his thyroid so that was GOOD NEWS! Josh is home now and will take a few days to recover.

Please continue to pray for his recovery and the plan ahead with 1/2 a thyroid.

Father in Heaven; once again, you have shown us the reason to believe and to look to you for answers to life’s troubles. Father we thank you for Josh's recovery and his positive results. Father we give you thanks for the skills you have bestowed upon the surgeons, nurses and staff at his hospital. Father we ask that you Bless this family, giving them your continued Peace and strength.
