Greetings! Thought I would give an update on my latest project. I bought the Dutchman setup after much research while in Portland, OR (home of Dutchman Motorsports) and here's where I'm at.

Here's the parts:

Wilwood 12" brakes.

And what I've done:

Rack bracket and lower control arms installed after two weeks worth of scraping tar undercoating and doing paint work. Aligning the bracket to the car was the tough part, needed help and had to do some clearance grinding on the crossmember HERE:

I'll be trial fitting the rack, spindles, steering arms, and steering shafts this weekend.:D

Paul, looks good, I am basically going for the same set up. I already have the spindles, a arms, 1" drop springs, and sway bar,[all Heidts], saving my nickels for the steering NOW! I sure would like a driving impression when you are back on the road. The steering thing can be a little overwhelming with so many choices and opinions! I did talk to some fellows at a respected hot rod shop close to me, they spoke highly of the Dutchman rack kit.
Thanks John:D

Sorry I didn't take a couple of the rack. Forgot.

Here's a couple of the temporary stance:

The last one is of a level on the door sill, you can barely see the bubble crammed all the way to the left. Even the valve covers on the engine are sloped forward a little. Like I said though this is temporary; I removed the rear springs this weekend as I will be swapping the 5 leafs for 2" dropped 4 leafs. The exaggerated "Rat Fink" rake will soon be gone. I like a little rake, but that's rediculous.

Will finally install the rear shock bar while I wait for the leaf springs to arrive. I'll also trial fit the steering rods and column. Once the new springs are on, the front will get taken apart again, parts painted, then final assembly. Oh, my 15" rims will not fit over the Wilwood calipers, so I'll be buying those 18"s a lot sooner than I thought.

I will DEFINITELY post driving impressions, as I can't wait to know myself.... Gonna take probably a month or so before I reach that point.:(

Looking good Paul. I'll bet you end up whacking a coil in front before you call it done. :)

I'll bet you end up whacking a coil in front before you call it done.

Maybe, it depends on how the car sits with the 2" drop leaf springs I just ordered. The curbs here are just so high here, even getting in and out of my own drive could be a problem if I go any lower. We'll see.
