What would be your "ideal job?"
Mine would be working 3rd shift at an old time Service Station. Best job I ever had as a teenager. :)

Unfortunately in todays world you get you shot, sooner or later. I think I'd like to do a HotRod shop, modifing, building and sales.
Oh Well

I have the best job ever!
I am a registered nurse in the operating room. I am some what retired and I work when I want to. Usually 2-3 days a week, sometimes less sometimes more. If I decide I want to work on the 57 I tell them I am not available next week and all is cool.
At present I'm covering for a full time employee for two weeks, will pay for my trip to Hawaii next month.

It takes a special person to do what you do. I admire you for it.
There is no ideal job imo. A job becomes a job sooner or later. :sign0020: :gba:

I retired from the best job I'll ever have. Now I work a job I'm beginning to hate, just because the boss has to run every detail, of what his employees do, every hour of the day. It's not the fact he don't trust me, it's just his nature to be the boss. So to answer your question, I'd like a job driving, not a big rig, just a small truck doing deliveries.

I wouldn't mind being a pump jockey again!
I worked nights(6 pm to 6 am) at a Shell station around 1970 when 2 guys,who were regulars,claimed they were abducted by a U.F.O.
Made the world news for sometime after!(Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker-Pascagoula,Ms.)
Had 2 bays and I made extra money working on cars(mine included).Plus,my buddies could hang out.
Good times!

My 'classic" response to folks that ask me what I do for a living is.

I used to run a half way house, for girls, that don't go all the way. LOL
